Inaccurate and very Selective:

Propaganda altered the truth and only said what people heard was the good things. The Western Front conditions were wrong because they told the people that were back home, that they were all wonderful but really they were infested with rats and lice. If the soldiers were killed and wounded not many were reported back, they made it look like the enemies were killed and horrible which was blown way out proportion. The British force were congratulated even when there were so many lives wasted. Belgium was invaded by Germany in 1914. Some of the Belgian people that were able to escape and travel to England made up very many terrible stories about how Germany took over. Germans were made up to be called “The Huns” according to writers. “The Huns” were a crew of barbarians trying to destroy the civil world. This word was prejudice against Germans.
